Fr. Silviu Bunta comes to St. George from the Bulgarian Diocese of Toledo.  He is a former student and friend of Archbishop Alexander of Dallas and the South.  Upon relocating to the Rio Grande Valley, he discovered St. George was in need of a priest and he was more than willing to serve us.  We are pleased to announce that Fr. Silviu has agreed to be assiged as our permanent priest as of January 2023.
